I would start digging a foxhole and cover it with rubble.
I'll dig deeper and make a tunnel network and i'll make a small hole , small enough for my sniper rifle's barrel to fit in, get a chalkboard and start fragging.

OK ... now that I've actually SEEN the movie? NOW ... my defense is centered around learning about Scientology ... publicly criticizing psychology ... propose to Katie Holmes ... and shrink about six inches ...

Tom did it right ... all you need to do is be a super mega star and the aliens will totally either leave you alone or will fail in their actions in regards to you ... and this is in spite of the complete lack of any kind of basic comprehension, as Tom seems to demonstrate throughout the movie ...

Since I live in Texas, everyone and their dog has a gun.. except me..

So, if you don't know the DFW area of Texas, it is a large metropolitan area with millions of people living here. I live in Northeast Tarrant county, which is directly in the center of this metropolotan area, not highly populated but enough so that the aliens would head this way eventually. I would most likely be outside the initial EMP range, so once I heard the blasts, I could high-tail it out of there. I'd most likely head for this small airport to the NE and then from there, into the woodlands of Eastern Texas.

The national parks to the East wood be the best bet for an unprepared escape, but heading into the desert in the west would be best if a prepared bunker was out there, just waiting to be used.

If only I knew some of the crazies that bought bomb shelters during the days of the Red Scare..

then I would be set.

ok....So I would run to the library, get out the book that had been written years earlier... and avoid all the places they were hitting until they died...

Or

I would go to liverpool Principa...where chances are there ship legs, laser beams and human capturing pods had been nicked, thus making them no threat at all!

What would I do?

I would play GW until the servers were offline from the attack, then play my sp games until my roof collapsed, but I would make sure to rig my entire home to take some of the bastards to the burning hells with me
